If you are planning to starve yourself to lose weight, then think again? Neither is it a healthy option nor is it feasible and once you stop starving yourself you will automatically pile on more weight. So think wisely and act accordingly.

If you ask me or any other dietitian for that matter, everyone will advise you to go for a healthy diet along with the correct exercise in order to bring about the required change in your weight. In fact it is a proven fact that if you eat five meals a day along with exercising you will end up losing more weight than mere starving yourself or by minimizing your food intake. And in case you are not that much a fan of green leafy vegetables and are more of a meat person then I have the perfect solution for you. Why don’t you consume juices to reduce weight? Trust me it works wonders!

Fruits and vegetables are known to speed up the metabolism rate in the body. They also help to flush out the waste and toxins. They help to keep the body organs like kidney and liver clean and working in the perfect condition. But then one has to know the right combination of fruits and vegetables in order to get the desired results. If one makes the mistake of mixing the wrong vegetables then it will have the opposite effect. Say for example broccoli and beets are quite good as individual vegetables but when you mix them together it will give way to indigestion and you will end up feeling unwell and uncomfortable.

Moreover it is better not to consume pure beets as it can affect one’s voice and can lead to temporary loss of it. Hence it is essential that one is aware of what fruits and vegetables to mix in order to get the maximum benefit. But what happens is that most of us avoid mixing fruits or vegetables simply because the end taste is not good and one does not feel like consuming it. But then this can be taken care of. All one has to do is add ginger, coconut or honey with mint in order to improve the overall taste.

Following are some of the recipes that you can try out at home if you intend to lose weight by less water retention in your body.
